Description: A two year position is open for a postdoctoral researcher in the area of Cryptographic Protocols and Applications at Department of Telematics, Faculty of Information Technology, Mathematics and Electrical Engineering, The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).. The postdoc will be part of the ongoing research activities at the department, which include modelling, construction, analysis and implementation of robust and efficient cryptographic protocols, multiparty computations, voting schemes, and key distribution applied to mobile services and systems.
Requirements: Applicants must hold a doctorate degree, or be in the formal process for attaining this. The applicant should state the earliest possible starting date.

( PHD) Research Scientist Position @ International Centre for Biosaline Agriculture, Dubai- Subject:Land Data Assimilation System

Description:. This research will generate data and scientific insight on regional surface- and ground-water resources.The position is full-time fixed term .The position is based at the ICBA campus in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Requirement:* Expertise in analysing GRACE, and if possible MODIS and TRMM data as well.
* Experience in working with numerical models (hydrology, hydrogeology, SVAT or climate).
* proven ability to handle/analyze spatio-temporal data sets relating to environmental monitoring and models as well as to remote sensing.
* Expertise in scientific programming (ideally FORTRAN, Unix or PERL).
* Experience with ENVI and ArcGIS.

Masters-degree level education and advanced skills in Remote Sensing, Hydrological Science, Environmental Science or a related discipline.

Description: MIB School of Management of Trieste, Italy is pleased to announce a scholarship competition for applicants to the XI edition of the International Master in Tourism & Leisure. The Scholarships will cover up to 70% of the tuition fees (equivalent to 12.600,00 EUR – twelve thousand six hundred EUR). The amount of the scholarships will be discounted from the overall tuition fees. In case of course abandonment or exclusion for any reason, no amount of the scholarship will be paid or reimbursed.
Requirements:- academic degree (or equivalent qualification) in any discipline;

PhD Position in Theoretical Nuclear Physics and Quantum Few-Body Physics, @ Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden- Subject: Physics or Engineering Physics

Description: The Ph.D. research project will lie within one, or several, of these fields. A Ph.D. position at Chalmers is for 4 years of research and course work and can be extended for up to 1 extra year depending on the degree of involvement in teaching duties.The position is funded by the European Commission via the grant ERC-StG ANSR. The successful candidate will benefit from existing and productive scientific collaborations with researchers in Europe and North America.
Requirements: Applicants should have a M.Sc. degree in Physics or Engineering Physics. The scientific interest of the candidate should be within theoretical physics. Experience and interest in computational physics methods is desirable.

Description: The successful candidate will carry out research related to the central interests of the group: Käher geometry, geometric analysis, symplectic topology, contact topology, deformation quantisation and symplectic symmetric spaces. There are no teaching requirements for the post.
