Description:  GEMMA is an interdisciplinary programme that provides high quality academic education and professional competences for personnel working or intending to work in the areas of Women’s Studies, Gender Studies and Equal Opportunities across Europe. It collects our best offers both from the humanities and social sciences, making it attractive to students and offering a wide span of options and combinations. Courses are taught by the most distinguished and highly recognized professors in the fields of research at each one of the departments involved.
GEMMA provides a unique opportunity to benefit from mobility as students are expected to study at different European universities. The Julius Nyerere Master’s Scholarship for Tanzania Students 2011@ University of Edinburgh, UK- Subject: Any Subject

Description: The Julius Nyerere Master’s Scholarship will cover the full overseas tuition fee, living costs of £10,000, and a return flight from Tanzania to the UK.
Eligibility: The scholarships will be awarded to Tanzanian citizens who are normally resident in Tanzania, and who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master’s programme of study at the University of Edinburgh.
Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.

Description: This scholarship will be awarded to a student from a Southern African country for postgraduate Master’s study for the 2011-2012 academic session.The scholarship will be awarded to applicants from Southern African countries who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master’s programme of study at the University of Edinburgh. Applicants may apply from the following countries:

Description: THE MNRB SCHOLARSHIP FUND invites scholarship applications from young Malaysians planning to pursue tertiary on a full-time basis at any recognised institution of higher learning.
Benefits:* Tuition fees based on actual for students in public universities or colleges and a maximum of RM8,000.00 per annum for students in private universities or colleges. The actual tuition fees are paid for overseas studies.
* Allowance of RM8,000 per annum for local Matriculation/Foundation or Diploma courses and
RM10,000 per annum for First Degree courses.
* Professional Actuarial Qualification – Subsistence allowance and related fees imposed by the Actuarial Association e.g. membership fees, examination fees, study materials.

Description: Action For Nature (AFN), a non-profit organization, has created the International Young Eco-Hero Awards to recognize and reward the successful individual environmental initiatives of young people ages 8 to 16. AFN encourages young people around the world to carry out individual environmental action projects. We believe that young people can have a positive impact on the environment and are vital in changing the way we live on our planet.
The applications will be judged according to several criteria, including but not limited to:
* originality
* difficulty
* organization
* length of time devoted to the project
* influencing/educating others
* use of outside resources (e.g. library, experts, media, community leaders)
* degree of success in reaching goals
* the impact on the environment.
Requirements
* The project concerns environmental health, advocacy, research or protection of the natural world.
* The project is action-based and self-initiated, and not one assigned by a teacher or other adult.
* The project has reached a significant stage or bas been completed the project within the last year.
* Applicants must be between the ages of 8 and 16 on February 28, 2011.
* Science Fair and Scouting Badge projects will only be considered if they include environmental action, educational outreach to others or extended studies beyond the Science Fair.
* We do not accept (a) projects related to domestic or confined animals, (b) compositions or reports.
