Clinical Scientist (Audiology) / Advanced Audiologist (Band 7)
Duration:24 monthsThe National Biomedical Research Unit in Hearing (NBRUH) is a partnership between Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, the University of Nottingham and the Medical Research Council Institute of Hearing Research. It employs approximately 30 academic, clinical and administrative staff, all based in newly refurbished Trust premises in the centre of Nottingham.
Qualifictaions: Clinical scientist candidates will have an MSc in Audiology and the Certificate of Audiological Competence, or equivalent,
And at least 3 years relevant post-qualification experience.
Advanced audiologist candidates will have BAAT parts I and II and at least 7 years relevant post-qualification experience.
In addition, candidates will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, research experience, and the ability to use statistical computer packages (eg SPSS) and to undertake and interpret data analysis.
Salary :£30,460 to £40,157 (band 7) per annum
Note that applicants who don't meet the full requirements may also be considered for appointment at a band 6 level, with a salary range £25,472 - £34,189.
