Description: The grant is usually awarded for a maximum of 2 years for a Master’s degree programme, and a maximum of 4 years for a PhD. For PhD, part of the research should be conducted in the home country and part in Groningen .
Eligibilty:Candidates should: be nationals of and have their permanent residence in one of the country`s listed, have a good command of the English language, be in good health so health insurance in the Netherlands can be arranged, be available for the whole period of the fellowship and be able to take part in the entire study programme, have no other means of financing the study in question.

Description: The grant amounts to 1000 euros/month, for a duration of stay of 6 to 12 months.
The selection is made in two steps : pre-selection and final selection. In order to participate in the programme, you must first apply on line.

Undergraduate Scholarship@ The Actuarial Foundation John Culver Woody Guidelines Academic Year 2011-2012, USA
Stipend: $2,000 scholarship for educational expenses.
Eligibility:Undergraduate students who will receive their undergraduate degree in December 2011, Spring or Summer 2012 and no later than August 31, 2012, rank in the top quartile of their class and have successfully completed one actuarial examination are eligible. Students must be recommended by a professor from their school (limit one application per school).
Application:Students must complete the application and write a brief essay as part of the application process (application item 6). Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated leadership potential through extracurricular activities. The student should then submit the completed application and essay to a professor at the student’s school. PostDoc Research Fellowship at The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences@ Norway in University of Oslo in Cosmology
Requirements:The candidate must have a PhD or other corresponding education equivalent to a Norwegian doctoral degree in astronomy/astrophysics, physics or a related discipline.The selected candidate should preferably have a strong background in computational cosmology, with emphasis on programming experience and knowledge of modern statistical techniques. Candidates with prior experience in analysis of real LSS data will be prioritized.
The main purpose of post-doctoral research fellowships is to qualify researchers for work in top academic positions within their disciplines.

Description: The position as PhD student may be held for four years, with extension to a maximum of five years if including 20 % department service duties. These duties in general include teaching undergraduate students. Since basic undergraduate courses are tought in Swedish, proficiency in the Swedish language is considered a merit.
