Stipend: $2,000 scholarship for educational expenses.
Eligibility:Undergraduate students who will receive their undergraduate degree in December 2011, Spring or Summer 2012 and no later than August 31, 2012, rank in the top quartile of their class and have successfully completed one actuarial examination are eligible. Students must be recommended by a professor from their school (limit one application per school).
Application:Students must complete the application and write a brief essay as part of the application process (application item 6). Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated leadership potential through extracurricular activities. The student should then submit the completed application and essay to a professor at the student’s school. The professor should verify the student’s class ranking and senior status, and prepare a letter of recommendation. Mail completed application form, recommendation letter, and required essay to:
