Master’s Scholarship for Southern African Students @ The University of Edinburgh,

Description: This scholarship will be awarded to a student from a Southern African country for postgraduate Master’s study for the 2011-2012 academic session.The scholarship will be awarded to applicants from Southern African countries who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master’s programme of study at the University of Edinburgh. Applicants may apply from the following countries:

* Angola
* Botswana
* The Democratic Republic of Congo
* Lesotho
* Malawi
* Mozambique
* Namibia
* South Africa
* Swaziland
* United Republic of Tanzania
* Zambia
* Zimbabwe

Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.
Criteria

Candidates should indicate within the personal statement of their scholarship application, the benefits and impact of undertaing their particular programme of study on the development of the candidate’s home country.
