Marine Biodiversity and Fisheries Science
Description: We need to appoint two Chairs, one in the area of Marine Biodiversity and the other in Fisheries Science. The Chair in Marine Biodiversity will have outstanding achievements in understanding patterns and processes affecting biodiversity in the marine environment. Focus can be in any area, including but not limited to, relationships between biodiversity and ecosystem functioning and services, taxonomy and evolution, conservation and management of marine systems for multiple uses and causes and consequences of biodiversity change.For the Chair in Fisheries Science, the successful candidate will be an internationally recognised expert in studies on sustainable exploitation of marine living resources.Salary: Salary will be negotiable on the Grade 9 salary scale and will be depend upon the qualifications and experience.
