Description: Candidate will be expected to have sufficient skills to learn and to perform various analysis methods - including western blotting, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, and PCR analysis - used routinely in the laboratory during your employment. In additionwe also expect from the candidate to contribute to the day to day management of the laboratory and the maintenance of the fruitfly facility..The successful candidate should possess an HND, or equivalent, in an appropriate science subject and be able to work independently and to a high standard. A degree in biological or medical sciences, chemistry or physics will be considered an advantage.

Time Period: 24 months.
Salary: It will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 3 scale (£17,111 - £19,743 per annum), with placement according to qualifications and experience.
