Require Senior Lecturer in Art Psychotherapy and a Senior Lecturer in Music Therapy @ University of Wales, Newport

Description: The University of Wales, Newport is seeking approval from the Health Professions Council to provide qualifying programmes of MA Art Psychotherapy and MA Music Therapy from September 2011. It is envisaged that one of the people appointed will have general oversight of the Arts Therapies subject area, ie both programmes.  The University invites applications from appropriately qualified and experienced Music Therapist who currently hold registered status with HPC.

 An approval/validation event is scheduled for February 2011 which will be followed by a period of preparatory development work leading to the first intake of students in September, 2011. The persons appointed will be expected to lead this work in each modality.

Salary:£40,119 to £46,510
